On May 8, 2025, with great joy we welcomed Pope Leo XIV. He came from Peru, was born in the United States, and is an Augustinian monk. Hearing his first words and greetings was indeed a very emotional mo-ment. We must now accompany him in the intensely difficult mission that is entrusted to him. May the Holy Spirit guide him, and may Mary accompany him.
It is fitting that this issue should mark the passing of POPE FRANCIS and through his writings express our THANKS for his 12 years and 39 days of devoted service to the Church.
